The Rock Restaurant

Located in front of Michamvi Pingwe beach on the southeast coast of the island, it has sometimes been referred to as the floating restaurant. It is a dining experience with nature and passionately prepared food.

The Rock Restaurant accommodates couples and groups of up to 20 – given enough warning and of course a booking. The Rock is available for special occasions and can be reserved for private events.

An open-air terrace, offering that romantic evening under the African stars by night, skies by day, with panoramic seascapes is available for pre-and post-meal drinks.

The restaurant is reached off the beach on foot at low tide or by boat at high tide. Guests can if they wish wade out. The boat service is offered with our compliments.

We pick you up at 11:30 am from your hotel and take you for a drive to Pingwe Village located on the southeastern part of the island coastline, We will get to the beach and take you by boat to the restaurant where you will be welcomed to the restaurant and start having your lunch at the restaurant,  once you finish taking your lunch and enjoying the sea breeze at your comfort, we then onboard back to the boat and cruise around the restaurant view on the seaside for taking pictures and head back to the beach harbor and back to the car and we then take you back to your hotel and drop you off.
